Therapy is a powerful way to work out who we truly are, and where we want to go. In order to improve our lives, we simply need to cultivate a little curiosity. What fuels those voices within that cause such conflict? What purpose do they serve? Perhaps they serve an important function, or maybe it's time for them to go. Simply put, you cannot master your mind until you know it. I will help you tease out the thoughts and patterns that are impacting your life, and together we will look at them as fairly and objectively as possible, as we work towards growth and change.

I work with individuals and couples that strive to become more authentic, responsive, centered, and connected. I am passionate about helping people find more effective ways to communicate with each other. Fostering positive, nurturing relationships inspires me. I have also had 3 years of experience working solely with kids, ages 7-18. My approach in working with kids is similar to my work with adults; it is based on the notion that a consistent, genuine, attuned and respectful ally can be enormously helpful and transformative.

My approach is common-sense, relational, non-judgmental, and warm.
I encourage kindness and compassion for oneself.  It is challenging to be human, no doubt about it! I am here to support you in the search for greater authenticity, peace and self-acceptance - within your relationships and within your whole self.
I do believe it is important to get to the heart of the matter, but that it doesn't have to take years. I always address changes that can be made right now, in the present, even while we explore past influences.
